flight was not until 10:30 pm, my husband and I booked a private 7
hour Jewish tour with Salito. He was waiting for us at the cruise
terminal and took us to many Jewish sights: the Israeli Embassy
Memorial, the Raul Wallenberg Memorial, the huge mall with the
Kosher McDonalds, the Orthodox Jewish area, the converted theatre
turned bookstore, the synagogue, and out to a delicious lunch.
Informative and passionate, he shared his family history and
opinions about Argentina's economy and government. As he dropped us
off at the airport, we hugged goodbye to our new friend. I would highly
recommend one of his tours.

Salito, we learned about Jewish history in Argentina and Buenos
Aires, we visited the places that meant a lot to Jewish community.
Salito shared a lot of
information about the country, city and also his ancestors. It was very interesting. He was very personable with great
English. I would definitely suggest using
him as a guide. Hopefully i will come
back to the city and will get a chance to do another tour with him.

We used them for a city
and Jewish tour of Buenos Aires. The tour was excellent and done in
clear understandable English. We did other tours with others, but

Cultural Judaism in Buenos Aires
Salito was a wonderful tour guide personalizing our experience of the Jewish
community here in Buenos Aires to meet our interests. We are secular
spiritual Jews from the United States staying in the very Jewish area of
Villa Crespo with many restaurants with homemade Jewish food ,displaying
artifacts from their grandparents who emigrated both Ashkenazi and Sephardic
to escape persecution The most wonderful, kind heartfelt and warm people who
are so proud of their heritage and take care of each other. So different
than the Jews in the US. We wanted our tour to focus on understanding and
experiencing the Jewish people of Buenos Aires, their culture, less on
history. Salito did it with wisdom and passion, including sharing examples
from his life

Our tour was great. Salito, our guide was friendly and
knowledgeable and thorough. We got to see much of Buenos Aires
and learn the history. Booking was very easy and Sylvia is very
responsive. I highly recommend this tour.

Salito is an excellent and moving story teller, relaying the
background to, and the contradictions of, Jewish life in BA, and in
particular the moving descriptions of the terrorist attacks in 1992
and 1994. This tour is highly recommended!

We had a great tour through the city during this experience. It
was a very personable and educational experience to learn about the
Jewish experience in Buenos Aires at the macro and micro level.
Our guide also helped us to get tickets for a tour of the Teatro
Colon after the experience.

Following a tour of Patagonia, we had an extra day in Buenos Aires.
Friends suggested a tour of Jewish Beunos Aires and recommended
their guide, Salito Gutt.
Salito picked us up at our hotel and spent the the next 4 hours with
us. He is warm and charming and has a wealth of knowledge of the
history of the Jews in Argentina and Buenos Aires. He is a wonderful
story teller mixing in both the history of the Jews in Argentina
with his own personal history. You share in his pride of the temple
in which he had his Bar Mitzvah and the temple to which he now
belongs, as well as his angst at the memorials of the bombings of
the Israeli Embassy and Jewish community. We toured Jewish
neighborhoods as he explained past and current Jewish life in Buenos
Aires. He was interested in our personal history and was able to
answer all our questions. At the conclusion of the tour, he dropped
us off to meet our friends. As a side note, I left my cell phone in
his car when he dropped us off. No problem. He was back in minutes
with my phone in hand. Would definitely recommend Jewish Tours
Argentina and Salito Gutt.
Spent two days with Salito Gutt. First day did a general
Buenos Aires tour and second they did a dedicated Jewish
Buenos Aires tour. Both days were outstanding. He
was most personable, and made the tour both informative and
enjoyable. Had an ability to explain things without
giving too much detail that one got confused, butgave an
incredible amount of information very well. Obviously
knew the city very well and as well as his subject. It
was it outstanding two days and I can only highly
recommended.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Salito and my experience
with Jewish tours. Salito provided several transfers during my time
in Buenos Aires. He was on time every time with a smile on his face
and a positive attitude. I also did a Jewish tour and on a separate
day of general tour of Buenos Aires, I still up with emotion from
the experience. It felt like I was with family with Salito.
Communication with Sylvia during the planning stage was also warm
and seamless. I would recommend them without hesitation!
Salito Gutt took the two of us around for ~4 hours and tailored the
tour exactly to our advance request for a mix historical & modern
Jewish BA. He exceeded our expectations. He is thorough, genuine,
passionate and a wonderful story teller. He will get you into places
that you will not see on your own.
We did an outstanding general tour of Buenos Aires with Salito who
was extremely knowledgeable ,friendly and engaging (see my review
under general tours in BA). He also briefly discussed insights of
Jewish interest during this tour even though it was not specifically
focused on Jewish BA and I am convinced that, just as reported in
other reviews, he would be an outstanding guide for those who would
like a tour focused on Jewish interests of BA..

We had one day to spend in Buenos Aires. From an overnight flight,
through customs, and arrival at our hotel, we met Salito Gutt to
embark on a seven hour tour. Sounds crazy, huh? We had a list of
sites and areas we wished to visit. Through pouring rain and
congested traffic, Salito was able to cover almost everything we had
requested while entertaining and educating four very tired
travelers. He made the seven hours fly by quickly and left us with a
sense of the city and its neighborhoods, current life in Buenos
Aires, lunch in a trendy cafe, and all of our many questions
answered. He always had a funny story to keep us going. The only
negative was that we didn’t have two days to spend with Salito!
Lots of guides are adequate, but Salito is exceptional. He provided
us with a great experience we will never forget.
Great tour of Jewish interest
Tour guide was very knowledgeable and spoke good
English.Took us to all the interesting sites and explain their history
and significance to us.Was courteous and polite and picked us up and
dropped us back to our hotel.We would recommend this tour to people
interested in the subject.
He picked us up and showed us very interesting
places and told his own stories about the ups and downs of Jewish life in Buenos
Aires.
The visit to AMIA and a Chabad-run synagogue
gave us great insight into the community.
I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who
is curious about this community.

Great tour of Jewish Buenos Aires Dec
2022 We thoroughly enjoyed our tour
of Jewish Buenos Aires given by Salito Gutt.
He was so knowledgeable and offered
interesting insights into the history of Jews in Argentina.
He was warm, friendly, offering
personal stories that made it feel more like a cousin or
uncle was giving us the tour. We
would highly recommend this tour and, particularly, Salito
Gutt. Well worth the time and
price.
This was a fabulous
comprehensive tour highlighting the most important and
relevant facets of Jewish life in Buenos Aires, Salito
was a warm, informative guide who was very knowledgeable
about Jewish life in BA. As a native Argentinian, he
showed us hidden gems we would have never been able to see.
The two terrorist memorials were very moving. We
highly recommend Salito for your guide in BA,
