Thank you for your email. We have just returned to Vancouver after spending a week in Salta.
Our tour
with Salito was one of the highlights of our stay in Buenos Aires.
Although we do not have any specific family connection to Argentina,
we were fascinated by his story of Jews arriving and settling in
Argentina. Salito has a way of making the story very personal,
especially as we were able to experience first hand, some of the
same locations that Jews arriving many years previous experienced.
Our visits to the memorialat the Israeli Embassy and the
synagogue filled with Torah scrolls was very special.
Thanks
to Salito for doing such a meaningfull and important job, not just
for the Jews in Argentina, but for Jews around the world - finding a
connection with each other is so important!
