Both mywife and I enjoyed the tour - the closed museum and the
rain added a little spice though I am sure the long ride home because of
flooded streeets gave Salito a long day.The history of early
Argentinian Jewry was new to us and the scenes of the bombing were like
visiting "ha kotel"
Personally closed synagogues don't interest me much - being more people oriented would have preferred to visiting working things like a community center. And it would have been nice to pick up a challah for shabat. These preferences do not detract from this tour. I do not know how often we will be back to Argentina but if we do come maybe we can arrange one where we spend more time around people. Sharon & Harris Ch. Canada |
