The Seminary
AWARDS
In May 1996 the Seminario Rabínico Latinoamericano ¨Marshall T. Meyer¨ was
granted one of the most prestigious awards in the Jewish world: the ZALMAN
SHAZAR Award for educational institutes in the diaspora. This prize may be
deemed as a manifold recognition: first, to the noteworthy task of Rabbi
Marshall T. Meyer Z"L, founder of this house, and second, to the task of
teachers, Committee members and students who devoted their time and effort to
the development of this Seminario. Furthermore, this award gives the Seminario
international educational status and encourages their directors to go on making
out of this institution a pillar of Judeo-Argentine education.
