Meeting
the Needs of the Individual Student
The
Law
School
seeks to help every student reach his or her highest potential.
In keeping with this philosophy, the
Law
School
puts an emphasis on considering the situation of each individual student and
working to meet that student's educational needs.
As part of this effort, extra instruction in English is offered to
students who need it to attain an acceptable level of English proficiency.
Faculty members are encouraged to maintain an open-door policy and to
meet individually with students who need extra assistance.
The Dean also meets with students informally on a regular basis; no
appointment is necessary and any student who wants to see the Dean may stop by
the Dean's Office.
The
faculty and administrative staff of the
School
of
Law
work hard not to function as part of an anonymous institution, but rather to be
part of a collective effort to offer each student the best possible educational
experience.
