The Supreme Council of the Allies (Triple Alliance) meets in San Remo,
Italy and elects to grant the mandate for Palestine to the British. The
Balfour Declaration is included in the mandate agreement. There is
rejoicing in the Jewish Yishuv and in the Zionist movement all over the
world.
