The Wailing Wall incident. Clashes between Arabs and Jews in Jerusalem are
triggered by the removal of a screen dividing men and women, which enrages
the Jewish Yishuv. In the months to come, the clashes escalate and the
Arabs accuse the Jews of coveting the Moslem holy places on the Temple
Mount.
