press corps of several hundred journalists, there are varying degrees of
knowledge and understanding of the situation. Many media outlets reassign
journalists from other posts to assist their colleagues in Jerusalemduring
particularly "heavy" news times--e.g. the Palestine Authority
elections, death of Arafat etc.
