Cultural Judaism in Buenos Aires
Salito was a wonderful tour guide personalizing our experience of the Jewish community here in Buenos Aires to meet our interests.
We are secular spiritual Jews from the United States staying in the very Jewish area of Villa Crespo with many restaurants with homemade Jewish food displaying artifacts from their grandparents who emigrated both Ashkenazi and Sephardic to escape persecution
The most wonderful, kind heartfelt and warm people who are so proud of their heritage and take care of each other.
So different than the Jews in the US.
We wanted our tour to focus on understanding and experiencing the Jewish people of Buenos Aires, their culture, less on history.
Salito did it with wisdom and passion, including sharing examples from his life
