Coffee Break

Once we leave the Jewish Museum, we’ll take a short break and stop somewhere to grab a bite or a coffee — kosher or not, that’s up to you.

Stop 6: Raoul Wallenberg Monument

We’ll head north through the city, stopping along the way to visit the Raoul Wallenberg Monument.

There, I’ll share the story of this hero, named Righteous Among the Nations by Yad Vashem in Israel.

Stop 7: Belgrano

We’ll travel to Belgrano, the neighborhood where German Jewish and non-Jewish immigrants settled.

Today it’s the center of the city’s Reform and Conservative Jewish community.

Stop 8: Latin American Rabbinical Seminary

We’ll see the Latin American Rabbinical Seminary, the most important training institute for Spanish-speaking rabbis in the world.

Stop 9: Arlene Fern School

We’ll pass by the Arlene Fern School, one of the most important Jewish schools in Buenos Aires.

Stop 10: Bet El

Bet El, the city’s first Conservative Jewish community, founded in 1960 by Rabbi Marshall Meyer, of blessed memory.

Stop 11: Villa Crespo

Our journey back to your hotel will take us through Villa Crespo, the third most important Jewish neighborhood in Buenos Aires.
